Non-Art World Research:

Intellectually I am fascinated with the topic of sexuality and gender identity. As part of my coursework for my Sexuality Studies course I read chapters from the book “Self-Made Man” by Norah Vincent about the year she spent disguised as a man. She explored masculinity and masculine gender roles, sexuality, and dating, amongst other things. I would love to include some influence from her writing and also from the work of Heather Cassils that we viewed in class.
