Stakeholders

The most recent efforts of the team have been focused on interviewing educators of children with special needs. The teachers who have already been interviewed, along with future interviewees in this submarket, will be significant stakeholders in our project and will likely be continuously involved in our design process.

Along with educators, consulting special education instructors, behavioral therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, parents with special needs students, and the students themselves will aid the team’s understanding of the needs of the submarket. 

The team will expand our contacts in the submarket by using our own personal contacts, as well as the contacts previous interviewees have suggested we reach out to.

Using existing networks in the special education community is important for growing the team’s network and for showing existing contacts that their feedback and suggestions are taken seriously in our design process.
