We are so excited to host a 24-hour hackathon!
What is a Hackathon?
A hackathon is a fun event where people build “hacks,” which are creative solutions to problems in the world. Traditionally these are projects that use some level of coding to address problems in tech, sustainability, privacy, and more! If you have an app, a website, or any other personal project that you’ve wanted to build, this hackathon is the perfect space to do so. The hackathon will conclude with a science-fair-style presentation of projects where 3 judges (TBA) will award fun prizes to teams
When and Where is it?
Noon Saturday 2/18 – noon Sunday 2/19 in Rockwell Integrated Science Center (RISC)
Get into the hacking spirit and hack late into the night! We’ll have fun breaks and food throughout the 24 hours too. (And you don’t have to stay the whole time — we won’t force you to hahaha)
Who can participate?
Everyone on campus is invited! Feel free to send the registration link to your non-CS friends too!
To register, please fill out the following form by the end of the day Thursday 2/4 so we can get an accurate headcount: Click Here!
Wooo! So exciting!!
I heard it’s gonna be so good.
