W.O.R.D.S is an acronym for Writing Organization Reaching Dynamic Students . This non-profit literary arts organization offers first-class spoken word, poetry, and musical programming; including public performance opportunities to make sure that Lafayette students have a means to express themselves creatively.

The organization holds weekly meetings that are open to everyone, tri-weekly Open Mic Nights, as well as supplemental performance opportunities. W.O.R.D.S. is also known for being a coalition of performers to which other groups can come when they want to add a creative component to their events.
