About

As a student run organization and living group, the Reeder Street Fellows facilitate a lively community relationship in the house. By encouraging activity among its residents, the Lafayette community, and beyond, this unique residential environment promotes social, personal, and intellectual growth. The Reeder Fellows is a unique program because encourages intellectual development through diverse activities among its residents, the Lafayette community, and beyond.

The Program
The Reeder Street Fellows share a coed, off-campus house located at 225 Reeder Street. This exciting new program is student run and meets regularly for resident sponsored events.

The program hosts student-led discussions every week on thought-provoking topics, and also takes college-funded trips to interesting places. Previous trips have been to the West Wing of the White House, the Body Worlds Exhibit, a Hare Krishna Temple, Philadelphia Orchestra Concert, Broadway play – All My Sons by Arthur Miller. We offer great opportunities to discuss any idea or visit any location that any member of the house thinks would be interesting.

Some Information about Living in Reeder Street:

The Reeder House is located at 225 Reeder St. (which is the street just before the McKelvy House). We encourage you to think about applying to Reeder Street next year. It is a great house that is far enough off campus to feel like a real home, but not far enough to make you late for class. Our house is college owned. So, you need a check point. There are also custodians that clean. If you choose to live in Reeder Street than your room and board will not increase or decrease, but stay the same. However, there are perks, you get a full kitchen, dining room, living room and all the other amenities of living in a real house. The house is very community oriented and there is always something interesting going on. We also have a ping pong table and a bonfire pit.
