The Ariel is one of the early student publications in the College Archives, along with The Parthenion, The Washington and Literary Magazine, and The Washington Eagle — which were all handwritten — as well as The Censor and La Fayette Critic, The Fair Eastonian, The Ishmaelite, The Lafayette Rake, and Wide-Awake, which were printed.
