The LAF Mission
LAF stands for Lafayette Activities Forum. We are a student-run organization that strives to provide well-rounded programming for the community at Lafayette College.
If you’re a student at Lafayette College: “We’re what you’re doing tonight.”
We contribute to major events such as Freshman Orientation, Fall Fest, Midnight Breakfast, Pard Glow, the Presidential Ball, Rivalry Week, the Sex Week series, and the Spring Concert.
We provide live music at the Spot, acoustic artists and open mics at the Gilbert’s Cafe Lounge, and comedians at the Lower Farinon Snackbar. We provide off-campus trips to Iron Pigs Baseball games, bowling, laser tag, Fright Fest, the Eastern State Penitentiary, the Promenade Outlets, Philadelphia, and New York City. We provide special events such as the Relaxation Night, Trivia Night, Beer Tasting, Brewing Seminar, Whistles and Glowsticks, Mr. Lafayette, and Black Light Mini Golf. We cosponsor events such as Madam de Lafayette, Holocaust Remembrance Week, Women and Gender Studies lectures, Presidential Debate by professors of economics, Jamnesty, and the Hoff Awards Ceremony.
Overall, LAF plans over 60 events per year!
