The 2010 Camp has come and gone and check back for updates on the 2011 version of the camp!
Welcome back for the 2010 NFA-LD Debate Cooperative! There will be more announcements in the coming days, so keep checking back here for more details. This website will be updated as we have more information.
Once again we are bringing back the fellows program! They will attend camp for free and build leadership skills as lab leaders, research assistants and mentors at the cooperative. The 2010 fellows are James Hilbert from Lafayette College and Timothy Vaughan from St. Anslem College. Congratulations!
Dates: Saturday, July 31st – Sunday, August 8th, 2010
Location: Otterbein College, Westerville, OH
Cost: $400.00, checks payable to Otterbein College at camp registration
Registration Deadline: July 16th, 2010, digital registration form required
Fellows Deadline: July 1st, 2010, digital application form and 2 letters of recommendation are due

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I opt out of the food program and pay less? Unfortunately, we must insist that each participant buy the meal plan. The price for camp is very competitive for a camp that includes meals.
Q: Are the rooms air-conditioned? No. Our preliminary dorm placement is in a dorm without air conditioning.
Q: Do you plan to have an end-of-camp tournament? Yes, there will be a 6-round camp tournament.
Q: What are the most convenient airports to fly into? The Columbus airport.
Q: Will there be an airport shuttle pick-up? I’m still working on this, but if you contact me ahead of time with details I will be more likely to work something out.
Q: Where is the registration form and when it is it due? A: Scroll back up to the top of the page and look for the link. The registration deadline is July 16, 2010.
Q: What if I have to arrive late or leave early? No problem, just inform us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Q: Are there places to park if I bring my car? Yes, you will be able to park near the dorms for the duration of camp.
Q: What are the rooms like? Doubles? Singles? Can we request roommates? The rooms are double-occupancy. You can request roommates. We will honor all mutual roommate requests and do are best to make any additional accommodations. You should notify us if you have any special needs. Rooms will not be co-ed.
Q: If I am 21, what is the camp’s drinking policy? Otterbein College is a dry campus, and the NFA-LD Debate Cooperative must respect campus policies. There will be no drinking on campus during camp. Students violating this policy will be asked to leave the camp.
