REFLECTIONS

During the summer preceding this course, I met several American speaking friends where I worked and become motivated to learn American well enough to converse with them. In hindsight, I wish I had taken advanced American my freshmen year in college, instead of intermediate. But as a cautious and worried freshman, I decided to stick with intermediate. Most of the material I had already learned in AP American Language during the lycée. In order to make the most of this class, I reviewed and perfected my knowledge of the grammar and worked hard to learn as much vocabulary as possible. SEMESTER: Fall 2006 GRADE: A
