- European Passport
The European Language Passport was developed by the Council of Europe as part of the European Language Portfolio and consists of three documents: the Language Passport, the Language Biography and the Dossier. Please view my myPassport.
- Directions to our students:
- To fill out or modify the passport document, go to this site.
- Save and download your passport to your desktop as a PDF file.
- Select the "European Passport" heading (above)
- Upload the PDF file using the "Add media" buttons at the top of the WordPress editor
- After uploading, click the "Insert into Post" button to get a link to the file.

- Dialang Feedback
DIALANG is a language proficiency evaluation that has been developed by more than 20 major European institutions, with the backing of the European Commission. DIALANG is the first major language assessment system to be based on the Council of Europe's "Common European Framework of Reference", which has become established throughout Europe as the most widely recognized frame of reference in the field of language learning. Please view my Dialang results here.
- Directions to our students:
- To take the Dialang test, open the program on the computers in Pardee 419.
- Open the Dialang.html file in Dreamweaver: myDocuments>Dialang>Dialang.html
- As you take each part of the test, copy and past your score and descriptor into the table provided on the Dialang.html page. There are six categories. count on spending between 10 and 30 minutes per category (the listening comprehension is the longest).
- Save your file.
- To record your progress in your language learning, f eel free to take Dialang as often as you like.

In each of our language classes, we fill out a surveys giving examples of what we can do at the end of the semester in the areas of listening, reading, speaking, writing, and presenting in a foreign language. The results are summarized in tables, which we use to build from semester to semester. Feel free to look at my Can Do's.
