What is LCE?

Lafayette College Esports is a student run club that aims to create a community that any competitive or casual  gamer can be a part of. We provide the means for communication between students who have similar gaming interests, as well as teams for competitive tournament play.

What does LCE do?

LCE is the club that houses Lafayette College’s official collegiate esports teams. There are a multitude of teams that already exist such as Overwatch, Hearthstone, Rocket League, and League of Legends. We are always looking to expand our roster of teams so that more students can be included within the collegiate competitive scene. These teams will participate in tournaments held by organizations like Tespa and CSL as well as partake in practices to improve themselves and the team as a whole.

The club also organizes LANs and tournaments that anybody can take part in, whether within the club or not. We run a semesterly LAN that allows students to interact with each other in person and create a fun enjoyable atmosphere for the night. During this we also hold tournaments for some of the biggest games that the club is currently interested in.

We are also a Tespa chapter through Tespa’s collegiate program. They help us with resources for tournaments as well as connections to other collegiate programs nation wide.
