NCBA National Pitcher of the Week
Ryan Napolitano (10/10-10/16, 2022)
Ryan was a workhorse for Lafayette in the doubleheader on Saturday. He closed out game on by going three innings and then started Game Two. He picked up the win in the first game and on the day he totaled 8 IP, 2 ER, 2 BB, 12K, and 9 hits.

NCBA Chesapeake – North
Ryan Napolitano (10/10-10/16, 2022)

Ethan Kline (10/10-10/16, 2022)
Ethan had the bat leading the Leopards to taking 2 of 3 from conference foe Lehigh. He went 6-11 with 3 RBI, 1 R, 1 SB, and one walk. Ethan came in clutch in Game 2 with a game-winning RBI single in the top of the seventh.

NCBA New England – South
Trent Eastman (10/15-10/21, 2018)
Trent threw a gem against conference rival Lehigh this past weekend. He threw a 7 inning complete game only giving up 1 ER on 7 hits & 2 walks while striking out 9 guys.

Trent Eastman (9/17-9/23, 2018)
Trent was an absolute workhorse for Lafayette this past weekend against Montclair State. He started BOTH games of a double header, throwing 13 total innings. Trent earned 2 W’s allowing 6 ER’s on 1 walk and 12 hits while striking out 13!

NCBA District 2 – East
Brian Ashnault (4/6-4/12, 2015)
Brian did it all over 2 games against Lehigh. He earned the save in the 1st game, and then earned the win in the 2nd. Through it all he hurled 6 shutout innings on 1 hit and 2 walks while K’ing 3 guys

Anthony Thompson (3/30-4/5, 2015)
Anthony was solid on the bump for Lafayette against conference opponent TCNJ. He earned the victory by throwing 6 innings giving up 1 ER on 4 hits and 0 walks while striking out 7 guys.

Anthony Thompson (3/9-3/15, 2015)
Thompson helped give Lafayette distance, but came up short against Iowa. 8 IP, 17 H, 3 BB, 4 K, 6 R, 5 ER. 15 ground ball outs while taking the loss.

NCBA District 1 – South
Anthony Thompson (9/22-9/28, 2014)
Anthony pitched a CG and picked up a win, He threw 7 innings of 8 hit baseball while only allowing 5 ER. He recorded 5 strike outs on the day as well!!

Dan Valladares (3/31-4/6, 2014)
You can’t win if you can’t score, and Valladares made sure Stevens Tech’s bats stayed on their shoulders. In a CG effort, Dan gave up only 1 R on 5 hits and a BB while K’ing 14! batters.

Brian Ashnault (9/23-9/29, 2013)
Ashnault showed off his bulldog mentality making 2 separate bullpen appearances this weekend and holding Monmouth to only 3 H across 5 IP racking up 5 K’s along the way.

Dave Root (9/10-9/16, 2012)
Dave pitched a complete game and earned the win in Game 1 and then shut the door in Game 2 by earning a save. On the day, he totaled 12 strikeouts, 2 walks, 4 hits, and allowed only 1 unearned run.

NCBA North Atlantic – East Conference Player of the Week
Brian Ashnault (9/25-3/31, 2013)
Brian made two appearances this week, one start and once in relief. In total, he threw 6 innings and allowed 5 runs, although none of them were earned. He walked 3, allowed 6 hits, and struck out 5.

Mike Coniglio (9/24-9/30, 2012)
Mike entered the game in relief and battled for 3 hard innings, allowing only 1 run (earned) on 1 walk and 3 hits. He struck out 1 and earned the save in an 11-8 victory over Montclair State.

Dan Valladares (9/17-9/23, 2012)
Dan struck out 8 straight batters on his way to a 14-strikeout total in his win over Lehigh. In 7 innings he allowed only 4 hits, 2 walks, and 1 run (0 earned).

Dave Root (9/10-9/16, 2012)
Dave pitched a complete game and earned the win in Game 1 and then shut the door in Game 2 by earning a save. On the day, he totaled 12 strikeouts, 2 walks, 4 hits, and allowed only 1 unearned run.

Dan Valladares (3/25-4/1, 2012)
Dan picked up a big win for Lafayette, pitching the rubber match of a three game series against Towson this weekend. He struck out 5 in 5 shutout innings, allowing just 2 hits without walking a batter.

Dan Valladares (3/12-3/18, 2012)
In his spring debut, Dan carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning. While he wasn’t able to finish off the no-no, Valladares completed the game, allowing just 1 run on 3 hits and 4 walks, striking out 7.

Collin Sayde (4/18-4/24, 2011)
Sayde picked up a 3-inning save in the win over Rutgers. Collin kept the Scarlet Knights scoreless over three innings, allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2.

Greg Hadley (3/28-4/3, 2011)
Hadley allowed just 1 earned run in 5 innings of work to lead Lafayette to their 100th win in program history, a 4-3 triumph over Rutgers. Greg allowed just 1 hit and 6 walks while striking out 2.

Hugh Harris (3/21-3/27, 2011)
Harris picked up a win in 1 and 2/3 innings of work against Drexel this week. He struck out 1 and allowed 1 run on 1 hit and 3 walks.

Rob Lennon (3/15-3/21, 2010)
Rob picked up a solid win against Iowa State in his first career start. In 6 innings of work, Lennon allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits and 3 walks, while adding 4 strikeouts.

Pete Bain (3/8-3/14, 2010)
Bain was solid in his first start of the spring, striking out 11 Hawkeyes in a complete game effort. Bain allowed just 3 earned runs on 5 hits, giving Lafayette their first win of 2010.

Pete Bain (5/4-5/10, 2009)
Bain, a freshman, got the opening start at the Regional Tournament for Lafayette against a Penn State offense that came into the weekend on fire. Pete allowed 5 earned runs on 7 hits and 5 walks while striking out 4.

Mike Spier (4/20-4/26, 2009)
Michael picked up a win over Rutgers by throwing five strong innings. He struck out seven batters while allowing just 2 earned runs on 4 hits and 3 walks.

Ben Silver (3/30-4/5, 2009)
Silver was dominant in the final game of a 3-game sweep over Drexel. Ben pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just 1 walk and 4 hits, while tying his own Lafayette record with 10 strikeouts.

Pete Bain (3/23-3/29, 2009)
Bain receives Pitcher of the Week honors after his first career start. In 2 innings of work, Pete struck out 3 batters without allowing a hit in a win over Lehigh. He walked just two batters.

Avery Brooks (4/23-4/29, 2007)
Avery picked up 2 conference wins in his 2 starts this past week. In 11 innings Avery struck out 6 batters, allowed 8 hits, walked 4 batters, and only gave up a total of 2 runs.

Ben Silver (4/2-4/8, 2007)
Ben threw a complete game to take the conference win against TCNJ. In 6 innings he gave up 2 hits and 3 walks but struck out 5 and allowed only 1 earned run.

NCBA New Penn Conference Pitcher of the Week
Phil Silverberg (4/30-5/6, 2006)
Silverberg mined his way through the Rutgers line-up throwing a complete game 3 hitter while striking out 10 and allowing 0 runs.

Kevin Manilenko (4/23-4/29, 2006)
No flashy numbers but a big one in the win column for Kevin this past weekend against conference rival Lehigh.

Phil Silverberg (4/16-4/22, 2006)
Back to back pitcher of the week, Phil did the job striking out 5 in the 6 1/3 he pitched between two games.
